Hello Ladies   

The weather was kind for us again for our latest outing to Gates Garden Centre at Cold Overton near Oakham last Wednesday. The wonderful autumn colours of the countryside were complemented with glimpses of Rutland Water, absolutely beautiful. The garden centre looked superb, beautifully decked out reminding us Christmas will soon be here. A wide variety of goods were available, from plant arrangements, toys, clothing, jewellery, ornaments to pet supplies. The restaurant was very busy, however the meals I understand were worth the wait. Some of us decided to take a snack at the coffee shop (shorter queue). As we left we were enticed into the farm shop by the delicious smells of fresh baked bread and cakes. Our return travel home was even more spectacular, with the low sun enhancing the autumn colours. A very enjoyable trip.  

Now to our next coffee and cake meeting.  This will be on Wednesday  1^st December at my home, 37 High St at 2 pm when we will be finalising the arrangements for our next outing for a meal on Wednesday 8^th December. Also Jo has also obtained details for visits to  Showcase Cinema possibly in the New Year. 

 Please let me have details of any tradesmen you would recommend that I can add to my list, will forward this to you all soon.   If you let me know if transport is a problem for any of our meetings, I will try to assist where possible.
