Our Church

Although burials no longer take place in our churchyard, it is still available as a resting place for cremated remains. We try to offer friendship and support to families at this sad and difficult time.

In the Lady Chapel there are three memorial windows where flowers may be placed in memory of a loved one. This peaceful corner of the church has been set aside for quiet reflection and prayer.

There is also a small library in church with a selection of books and CDs which people can borrow, free of charge. Near the library is a children’s area with toys for them to enjoy.

The church is open every Saturday morning from 10am until midday for people to meet together, look around, or bring flowers for the memorial window. During this time tea and coffee are available. For visitors who wish to buy a postcard or souvenir there is a table at the back of the church with small items for sale in aid of church funds.

Saturday Sale

On the first Saturday of each month a sale is held in the church from 10am until midday.

There are homemade cakes and local produce for sale, a bric-a-brac stall, CDs and DVDs and our popular ’Pot Luck’ table. During the morning we serve coffee and tea and freshly made bacon butties. For more information please contact Judy Robinson on 01778 343383.
