A Stitch in Time – every Thursday – 7-9pm and Saturday – 2-4pmThe stitch in time group in St John’s Church, Baston will be back in after the summer break. Everyone is welcome from seasoned stitchers to those wanting to learn.
Langtoft Open Church Saturday 5th, 12th & 26th September – 10.30am – 12.30pm St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be open for tea, coffee, biscuits and toast. Please do join us.
Your Move Games – Monday Afternoons – 2pm – 4pm St John’s Church, Baston continue with their Board Games & Social afternoon every Monday afternoon in the church. There will be a friendly space where you can enjoy a drink and play games. You may want to chat, read a book or even spend an hour before you do the school pick-up. Please do come along and join us.

Refresh Café – Sunday 13th September – 2pm – 4pm St Firmin’s Church, Thurlby will be holding their Refresh Café in church. You are encouraged to join in a community crochet and knit in! Poppies for Remembrance and angels for Christmas in the village. Come along for a chat, tea and cake. Advance notice – Wreath workshop 13th December £25 to inc. materials, tea and cake.
MOTHERS’ UNION Tuesday 15th September – 2.15pm The Mothers’ Union will be meeting at Almond Court Social Room, Northorpe. Our speakers will be from The Haven Women’s Refuge (Formerly Boston Women’s Aid). We welcome anyone who would like to join us for this or any of our meetings. Saturday 19th September – 10.30am – 12.30pm St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their monthly Cake and Bacon Butty morning in the church. Cake stall , books, DVDs and Jigsaws. All welcome to attend.
Harvest Services in the Ness Group
The following services will be held in the Ness Group for Harvest.
Sunday 20th September – 10am Bishop Nicholas will be joining us for our Group Harvest Holy Communion which will be held in St Michael’s Church, Langtoft. It would be lovely to see you all there to make it a really special Harvest Service.
Sunday 27th September – 10.30am A joint Harvest service with St Firmin Church and the Methodist Church at Thurlby Methodist Chapel, followed by lunch.
Sunday 27th September – 10am St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding a Family Harvest Service in church. All Welcome to attend.
Sunday 4th October – 10am St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding a Family Harvest Service in church. All welcome to attend.

Saturday 10th October – 10am – 12 noon St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be having a Churchyard tidy up (weather permitting). Come along and help tidy up the churchyard ready for the winter! Pruning, weeding, tidying gravestones . All welcome – refreshments available , please wear sturdy shoes and gloves and if you are able bring along some tools .
