The Ness Group Christingle / Advent Carol Services

Thurlby and Langtoft will be holding their Christingle Services

in church at the following times:

Sunday 26th November – 10am – St Michael, Langtoft

Sunday 3rd December – 4pm – St Firmin, Thurlby

Baston will be holding an Advent Carol Service on

Sunday 3rd December – 6pm – St John, Baston

Langtoft Open Church – Every Saturday – 10.30am – 12.30pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be open again for tea, coffee, biscuits and chat, please do join us.

A Stitch in Time Every Saturday 2pm – 4pm and every Thursday 7pm – 9pm.

New stitching group has arrived at St John’s Church, Baston. It’s a time for those wanting to meet likeminded folks for a natter and stitch. Everyone is welcome from seasoned stitchers to those wanting to learn.

Crafternoon – Sunday 3rd December – 1-3pm

St John’s Church, Baston will be holding a Crafternoon with a Christmas theme. Refreshments available. No charge, but donations are invited to cover the costs of materials. Many thanks to Lindsey Eassom for organising these popular sessions.

Baston Warm Welcome – Mondays in December – 2pm – 4pm

St John’s Church, Baston will be open for their weekly ‘Warm Welcome’ afternoon. They will be providing a friendly space where you can enjoy a drink and a warm welcome. You may want to chat, read a book or even spend an hour before you do the school pick-up.

Monthly Prayer Meeting Monday 4th December – 7.30pm – 9pm

St Firmin’s Monthly Prayer Meting will be held at Eden Cottage, 79 Northorpe, Thurlby. For requests for prayer please ring 01778 423505.

Thursday 7th December – 12 noon to 1.30pm

St John’s Church, Baston will be holding their Monthly Lunches again. Soup & roll, Chris’s Christmas pudding with custard, fruit, tea or coffee for just £6.50. All most welcome to come.

Sunday 10th December – 2pm to 4pm – Refresh Café

St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their Refresh Café in the church. Wreath and candle making workshops, all materials provided. Music by Serenity Flute Duo. All welcome

Saturday 16th December – 10am – 2pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their monthly Festive Trees and Treats event in the church. Come along and enjoy a lovely bacon butty, soup and/or cake. They will also have their Lucky dip table and chocolate tombola and a raffle stall. All welcome to attend.

The will be No Mothers’ Union meetings in December.

Carols by Candlelight Services in the Ness Group

The Ness Group will be holding their Carols by Candlelight Services

Living Crib Service – Sunday 24th December
