Bible Course – Every Wednesday evening 7pm – 8.30pm

We are continuing with our Bible Course. This is a lovely way to look afresh or to look for the first time at the Bible.  Please come along on a Wednesday evening 7pm til 8.30 at the Vicarage. 

Lunches in Church

Wednesday 6th, 13th, 20th March – 12 noon – 2pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their Lunches through Lent starting on 14th February.  Soup, Hot Pudding and Custard, Tea or Coffee £6 per person.  Pre school children and Primary age children eat free if accompanied by an adult.  All most welcome to come.

Baston Lent Lunches – Cancelled

St John’s Church, Baston are sorry to let you know that due to the floor needing work done to it, their Lent Lunches are cancelled.

Langtoft Open Church – Every Saturday – 10.30am – 12.30pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be open again for tea, coffee, biscuits and chat.  Please do join us.

A Stitch in Time-Every Saturday 2pm-4pm/Thursday 7pm-9pm

The stitching group in St John’s Church, Baston continues to grow. It’s a time for those wanting to meet likeminded folks for a natter and stitch. Everyone is welcome from seasoned stitchers to those wanting to learn.  Please note that this will not be happening on Thursday 28th & Saturday 30th March.

Baston Warm Welcome – Every Monday – 2pm – 4pm

St John’s Church, Baston will be open for their weekly ‘Warm Welcome’ afternoon.  They will be providing a friendly space where you can enjoy a drink and a warm welcome.  You may want to chat, read a book or even spend an hour before you do the school pick-up. 

Friday 1st March – 2pm

This year’s World Day of Prayer Service (formerly Women’s World Day of Prayer) will take place at Bourne Methodist Church.  Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served after the service.

Monthly Prayer – Monday 4th March – 7.30pm – 9pm

St Firmin’s Monthly Prayer meeting will take place in the home of Peter and Patsy Moore, 79 Northorpe.  Prayer requests to Patsy and Peter on 01778 423505 or go along and join them.

Refresh Café – Sunday 10th March  – 2pm –  4pm

St Firmin’s Church, Thurlby will be holding their Refresh Café  – We’re celebrating Mothering Sunday.  Bring along someone close to you and tell us why they are special. There will be a photo booth to create memories, and flowers to take home. Join us for tea and cake

Saturday 16th March – 10am – 1pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their monthly Cake and Bacon Butty morning in the church.    Come along and enjoy a lovely bacon butty, soup and/or cake.  They will also have their lucky dip table and bits and bobs table.  All welcome to attend.

MOTHERS’ UNION

Tuesday 19th March – 2.15pm

The Mothers’ Union will be holding their monthly meeting in St. Firmin’s Church Hall, Thurlby.  Sarah Salmon will be talking about her recent trip to Moldova.  Further details from Patsy (423505) or Lynette (561605).   

Please note: Our Lady Day Service has been moved this year to Monday 8th April. We shall also be celebrating on that day 100 years of Mothers’ Union in Thurlby and 110 years in Bourne.  For more details see the April What’s On.

Repair Café – Sunday 24th March – 2pm to 5pm

St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their very popular Repair Café in the Church Hall – a week earlier than usual due to Easter.  A meeting place to come and repair your broken items, seek professional advice and get inspiration and it is completely FREE.  So bring along something to repair or just come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of delicious cake.  For more information please ring Mary Trumble on 01778 423500.
