Warm Welcome – Mondays in August – 2pm – 4pm

St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be open for their weekly ‘Warm Welcome in a Cool Place’ afternoon.  They will be providing a friendly space where you can enjoy a drink and a warm welcome.  You may want to chat, read a book or even spend an hour before you do the school pick-up.

Mothers’ Union

Mary Sumner Day Coffee Morning

Wednesday 9th August – 10am to 12 noon

The Mothers’ Union will be holding a Mary Sumner Day Coffee Morning in St Firmin Church Hall, Thurlby.  Mary Sumner was the founder of the Mothers’ Union in 1876 and every year we celebrate her birthday with a 15 minute service at 10am followed by as Coffee Morning.  The proceeds of which will this year go to the Mothers’ Union Summer of Hope Appeal.  Do join us!.

Refresh Café – There is No Refresh Café in August

Cake & Bacon Butty – Saturday 19th August – 10am – 1pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their monthly homemade cake and Bacon butty morning in church. Home made cakes, bacon butties, ham or egg salad, Lucky dip, bits and bobs table. All welcome to attend.
