Ness Group Choir

The Ness Group Choir are always looking for new members.  If you love singing, even if you think you are not very good at it, why not join them in Langtoft Village Hall on Saturday 25th January between 3pm and 4pm to have a sing song with the choir and find out the benefits singing can bring to you.  No experience if needed.  All welcome! Refreshments will be served during the session.

Langtoft Open Church – Saturday 1st, 8th & 22nd February – 10.30am – 12.30pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be open again for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and toast. Board games available. Come along and see the snowdrops in the churchyard.

Monthly Prayer – Monday 3rd February – 7.30pm – 9pm

St Firmin’s Monthly Prayer meeting will take place in the home of Peter and Patsy Moore, 79 Northorpe.  Prayer requests to Patsy and Peter on 01778 423505 or go along and join them.

Thursday 6th February – 12 noon to 1.30pm

St John’s Church, Baston will be holding their Monthly Lunches again. Soup & roll, pudding with custard, fruit, tea or coffee for just £6.50.  All most welcome to come.

A Stitch in Time

Every Saturday 2pm – 4pm and every Thursday 7pm – 9pm.

New stitching group has arrived at St John’s Church, Baston. It’s a time for those wanting to meet likeminded folks for a natter and stitch. Everyone is welcome from seasoned stitchers to those wanting to learn.

Refresh Cafe – Sunday 9th February  – 2pm –  4pm

St Firmin’s Church, Thurlby will be holding their Refresh Café  in church – Warm space with refreshments, including soup – and chat, games and puzzles. If you can’t get there and need a lift ring Mary  07432156298. Have you a neighbour who can’t get out and would enjoy the company?

Saturday 15th February – 10am – 1pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their monthly Cake and Bacon Butty morning in the church.    Come along and enjoy a lovely bacon butty, soup and/or cake.  They will also have their lucky dip table, Cake stall, Hot drinks and soup .

MOTHERS’ UNION

Tuesday 18th February – 2.15pm

Repair Café – Sunday 23rd February – 2pm to 5pm

St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their very popular Repair Café in the Methodist Church Hall.  A meeting place to come and repair your broken items, seek professional advice and get inspiration and it is completely FREE.  So bring along something to repair or just come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of delicious cake.  For more information please ring Mary Trumble on 01778 423500.
