Warm Welcome – Mondays in July – 2pm – 4pm

St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be open for their weekly ‘Warm Welcome’ afternoon.  They will be providing a friendly space where you can enjoy a drink and a warm welcome.  You may want to chat, read a book or even spend an hour before you do the school pick-up. 

Monthly Prayer Meeting – Monday 3rd July – 7.30pm – 9pm

There will be a Monthly Prayer meeting at the home of Patsy and Peter Moore: 79 Northorpe, Thurlby.  We welcome anyone who would like to join us.  Please note: there will not be a Prayer Meeting in August.

Mothers’ Union – Wednesday 5th July – 2.15pm

The Mothers’ Union will be meeting with Bourne MU at Bourne Abbey Church Hall for a talk by Viv Rowett on ‘The Psalms in Stitches’.  This is open to anyone interested in stitch craft.  For information about this event, or any other aspect of Mothers’ Union work please contact Patsy on 01778 423505.

Refresh Café – Sunday 9th July – 2pm – 4pm

St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their Refresh Café in the church.  Cuppa, cake, chat, relax, crafts to see, try, buy plus locally reared pork for sale.  Free event – all welcome.

Cake & Bacon Butty – Saturday 15th July – 10am – 1pm

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their monthly homemade cake and Bacon butty morning in church. Lucky Dip table. books , jigsaw, bric a brac. All welcome to attend.

Repair Café – Sunday 30th July – 2pm to 5pm

St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their very popular Repair Café in the Church Hall.  A meeting place to come and repair all of your broken items, seek professional advice and get inspiration and it is completely FREE.  So bring along something to repair or just come and enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of delicious cake.  For more information please ring Mary Trumble on 01778 423500.  Please Note there will be no Repair Café in August.
