Home Group – 7pm – 8.30pm – Wednesday evening

Monday 1st September – 7.30pm-9pm St Firmin’s Monthly Prayer meeting will take place at Patsy and Peter’s – Eden Cottage, 79 Northorpe.  For prayer requests please ring 01778 423505 or come and join them.

A Stitch n Time – every Thursday – 7-9pm and Saturday – 2-4pm The stitch n time group in St John’s Church, Baston will be running throughout September except for Thursday 25th and Saturday 27th.

Langtoft Open Church Saturday 6th & 27th September – 10.30am – 12.30pm St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be open for tea, coffee, biscuits and toast.  Please do join us.  The Monthly bacon butty morning will be on 13th September and church will not be open on Saturday 20th September.

Saturday 13th September – 10.30am – 12.30pm St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their monthly Cake and Bacon Butty morning in the church.  Also Lincs Historic Churches Ride and Stride event, cake stall , bric a brac stall , Toys,  children’s books games and puzzles stall . If you have any donations of toys, children’s books, games and puzzles please drop them off at East Dean House , East End , Langtoft.  All welcome to attend.

Stamford Stitchers Exhibition – Saturday 13th September 10am – 4pm & Sunday 14th September 11am – 4pm St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding the Stamford Stitchers Exhibition in the church. All most welcome to come and see the beautiful work.  Refreshments available.

Refresh Café – Sunday 14th September  – 2pm –  4pm St Firmin’s Church, Thurlby will be holding their Refresh Café in church.  Come along for a chat, tea and cake.

MOTHERS’ UNION Tuesday 16th September – 2.15pm The Mothers’ Union will be meeting at Almond Court Social Room, Northorpe.  Speaker still to be arranged.  We now have a new Branch Leader – Angela Stroud – who will now be our point of contact as we move towards the Mothers’ Union’s 150th anniversary in 2026.  More information about the Mothers’ Union can be found on the Mothers’ Union website – mothersunion.org.

Sunday 21st September –  10.30pm A joint Harvest service with St Firmin Church and the Methodist Church at Thurlby Methodist Chapel, followed by lunch and will be collecting both money and items to donate to the Bourne Food Bank as their charity. 

Sunday 28th September – St Firmin Church Feast day – 10am St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be celebrating their Feast Day with Holy Communion service followed by a shared lunch at 12 noon.  All welcome to attend.

Repair Café – Sunday 28th September – 2pm to 4.30pm St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their very popular Repair Café at Thurlby Methodist Hall.  A meeting place to come and repair your broken items, seek professional advice and get inspiration and it is completely FREE.  So bring along something to repair or just come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of delicious cake.  For more information please ring Mary Trumble on 01778 423500.

Thursday 2nd October – 12 noon – 1.30pm St John’s Church, Baston will be holding their Monthly Lunches again. Soup & roll, pudding with custard, fruit, tea or coffee for just £6.50.  All most welcome to come.

Thursday 2nd October – 12 noon – 2pm St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their Harvest Lunch in the Village hall.  Tickets £10 from either Langtoft Village shop or Debbie Howard.

Saturday 18th October – 10.30am – 1.30pm St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their Autumn Craft Café, bacon butties, cakes, craft stalls.  If you would like to book a stall please contact Claire Naylor on 01778 343717.
