Monday 30th December – between 2pm and 4pm

If you are feeling a little flat after Christmas, if you have a new game

you would like to play, if you would just like some company, why don’t

you come along to St John the Baptist Church, Baston for refreshments

and board games.

Prayer Meeting – Monday 6th January – 7.30pm

St Firmin’s monthly Prayer Meeting will be held at Peter and Patsy Moore’s home – 79 Northorpe, Thurlby – everyone is welcome and prayer requests please give to Patsy or Peter Moore – ring 01778 423505.

Monthly Lunches – Thursday 9th January – 12noon -1.30pm

St John the Baptist, Baston will be holding their very popular Monthly Lunch.  Soup, roll and butter, hot pudding with custard, tea or coffee still only £5 adult and £1.50 pre school children who have a choice of beans or pasta shapes.

Sunday 12th January – 10am

The Ness Group’s Plough Sunday Service  will be held in

St Firmin Church, Thurlby, all are most welcome to

come along.

MOTHERS’ UNION – Tuesday 21st January 2020 – 12 noon

New Year Lunch at The Horseshoe, followed by Annual General Meeting in the Church Hall.  Visitors are very welcome – this is an ideal opportunity to learn what Mothers’ Union have been up to over the past year and to hear plans for the year ahead.  For more information about MU please ring Patsy on 423505.    

Sunday 26th January – 2pm to 5pm

St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their very popular Repair Café in the Church Hall.  A meeting place to come and repair all of your broken items, seek professional advice and get inspiration and it is completely FREE.  So bring along something to repair or just come and enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of delicious cake.  For more information please ring Mary Trumble on 01778 423500.

Film Club – Monday 27th January

The Ness Group Film Club meets in the Church Hall in Thurlby.  The film is “Calamity Jane”.  Donation of £2.50.  Please do come along and have a nice relaxing time watching the film and then chatting to friends afterwards while you have afternoon tea.
