Your Move Games – Monday Afternoons – 2pm – 4pm St John’s Church, Baston continue with their Board Games & Social afternoonevery Monday afternoon in the church. There will be a friendly space where you can enjoy a drink and play games. You may want to chat, read a book or even spend an hour before you do the school pick-up. Please do come along and join us.
Still Point & Church Café St John’s Church, Baston – their Still Point and Church café in church will now break until the autumn. Please watch this space for further details for its return.
Langtoft Open Church Saturday 6th & 27th June – 10.30am – 12.30pm St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be open again for tea, coffee, biscuits , toast and jam or marmalade. Also available are dominoes, cards, Jenga, draughts and Scrabble. All Welcome.
Please note: the church will not be open on 20th June due to a wedding.
A Stitch in Time-Every Saturday 2pm-4pm/Thursday 7pm-9pm The stitching group in St John’s Church, Baston continues to grow. It’s a time for those wanting to meet like-minded folks for a natter and stitch. Everyone is welcome from seasoned stitchers to those wanting to learn.
Monthly Prayer – Monday 1st June – 7.30pm – 9pm St Firmin’s Monthly Prayer meeting will take place at Eden Cottage, 79 Northorpe. Prayer requests to Patsy and Peter on 01778 423505 or just come along and join them.

Saturday 13th June 10.30am until 2pm St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their Cake and Bacon Butty morning in church with cake stall and bottle tombola stall (please note this is a different Saturday this month.
Refresh Café – Sunday 14th June – 1.30pm to 4.30pm St Firmin’s Church, Thurlby will be holding their Refresh Café in church. Art in Nature dabble afternoon. Try out crafts to create a card or picture based on Nature.
MOTHERS’ UNION Monthly Meeting – Tuesday 16th June 2.15pm – The Mothers’ Union will be holding their monthly meeting in Almond Court, Northorpe. The Speaker will be: Rev. David McCormack. Feast Weekend – to Celebrate John the Baptist To celebrate the feast of John the Baptist, Baston Church will be holding the following events. Please do come along and help us make our weekend special!
Saturday 27th June at 7pm – Greenwood Quire Concert St John’s Church, Baston are delighted that the Greenwood Quire will be coming to entertain us with a concert in Baston Church. Tickets (which include a glass of wine or juice and nibbles) are Adult £10; Child (14 and under) £5 and are on sale at shop (cash only) or by emailing bastonctf@gmail.com or phoning 07471 198 497.
Sunday 28th June at 10am St John’s Church, Baston will be holding a service of Holy Communion, all are most welcome to come and help us celebrate our Feast weekend.
Repair Café – Sunday 28th June – 2pm to 4.30pm St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their very popular Repair Café at Thurlby Methodist Hall. A meeting place to come and repair your broken items, seek professional advice and get inspiration and it is completely FREE. Ukraine Appeal
The Ness Group are again organising a general appeal for the Ukraine. Posters will be up in each of our three churches
(Baston, Langtoft and Thurlby) about what is being requested.
Boxes are in the three churches for your donations –
No clothing or shoes please.
