St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding a ReFresh Café. Come and join us for a cuppa, cake and a chat and meet some of the talented people from our village who make and craft. Everyone welcome, no charge. There will be unique handmade items for sale.

Ivy clearing in the churchyard
As part of our Jubilee year churchyard project St Michael’s, Church, Langtoft will be clearing ivy off gravestones and walls Tea, coffee and bacon butties provided for volunteers. Please wear sensible clothing and bring secateurs.

Repair Café – Sunday 25th September – 2pm to 5pm
St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their very popular Repair Café in the Church Hall. A meeting place to come and repair your broken items, seek professional advice and get inspiration and it is completely FREE. St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be holding an afternoon at the church and churchyard to discuss the Baston, Langtoft and Thurlby ‘Naturehood’ project and more importantly the proposal to turn the churchyard into a nature habitat. If you have any views or ideas regarding this now is the time to join in. All welcome to come along and refreshments will be available.
Thursday 6th October – 12 noon to 1.30pm
St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be holding their Monthly Lunches again. Soup & roll, hot pudding with custard, fruit, tea or coffee for just £6, under school age children £2. All most welcome to come.
