St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be holding their Monthly Lunches again. Soup & roll, hot pudding with custard, fruit, tea or coffee for just £6, under school age children £2. All most welcome to come.

MOTHERS’ UNION RETREAT
The Mothers’ Union will be holding their Retreat on the theme ‘Transformation Now’. This will be held at Bishop Grossteste College Chapel, Lincoln and we welcome anyone who would like to attend – you do not need to be an MU member! TUESDAY 18TH OCTOBER
We meet at St. Guthlac’s Church, Market Deeping at 2.15pm for a ‘mini pilgrimage’ to discover more about the mysterious St. Guthlac. Again we invite anyone who would be interested to join us. If you are in need of a lift or can offer a lift, please ring Patsy (423505) by 8th October at the latest or ring Angela on 561718 and we will see what we can arrange.
Saturday 15th October – 10am – 3pm – Autumn Fair
St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their Autumn Fair in the church. Come along and browse our stalls, Local crafts, Lucky dip, Cake stall, Book stall, Christmas ideas . Tuesday 18th October – 8pm – Harvest Auction
Following on from the Group Harvest Communion on Sunday 16th October, St John’s Church, Baston will be holding their Harvest Auction in The White Horse Pub. Church Street, Baston. Gifts of produce, cakes etc are welcome. This is always a fun evening so please do join us.
Saturday 29th October From 2pm til 4pm – Pumpkin Party
St Michael and All Angels will be holding a Pumpkin Party in church. Come along and try some craft activities, bring your carved pumpkin to enter our carved pumpkin competition (No charge to enter). Come in fancy dress (if you want to). Refreshments available: Sandwiches, Cakes, Tea, Coffee.

Repair Café – Sunday 30th October – 2pm to 5pm
St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their very popular Repair Café in the Church Hall. A meeting place to come and repair your broken items, seek professional advice and get inspiration and it is completely FREE. So bring along something to repair or just come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of delicious cake. For more information please ring Mary Trumble on 01778 423500.

St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding the All Soul’s Service in church. This is a prayerful service to remember our loved ones who have sadly passed away. All welcome to attend.
