Pop in for Prayer
Friday 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd February – 9.15am to 10am
St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be holding a pop in for a quiet time of prayer. Take a moment out of the hustle and bustle, pause and pray. No need to book, everyone welcome.
Saturday Sale – Saturday 2nd February – 10am to 12 noon
St. Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their Saturday Sale in church. Freshly made bacon butties to have with tea or coffee. Cake stall, bric-a-brac, CDs and DVDs and our popular ‘Pot Luck’ table.
The church is open each Saturday during the month, between 10am and 12 noon and coffee and tea are available.
Prayer Meeting – Monday 4th February – 7.30pm

Lunches – Thursday 7th February – 12 noon
St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be holding their Monthly Lunches in church. Soup & roll, hot pudding with custard, fruit, tea or coffee for just £5, under school age children £1.50 (either pasta shapes or beans, pudding).
Afternoon Tea at the Vicarage
Tuesday 12th February from 2pm to 4pm
Reverend Carolyn Bailey will be having an open afternoon at the Vicarage. A chance to pop along have tea, cake and a chat. All will be most warmly welcomed.
Mothers’ Union
Tuesday 19th February – 2.15pm
The Mothers’ Union will be holding their meeting in the Church Hall, Thurlby. They will be taking a look at this year’s theme ‘Listen-Observe-Act – In Tune With God’ led by our Diocesan President Elizabeth Page. Visitors are always welcome to join us for any of our meetings. Monday 25th February – 2pm
The Ness Group Film Club meets in the Church Hall in Thurlby. The film is “An American in Paris”. Donation of £2.50. Please do come along and have a nice relaxing time watching the film and then chatting to friends afterwards while you have afternoon tea.
