Pop in for Prayer Friday 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd March – 9.15am to 10am

St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be holding a pop in for a quiet time of prayer. Take a moment out of the hustle and bustle, pause and pray. No need to book, everyone welcome.

Saturday Sale – Saturday 2nd March – 10am to 12 noon 

St. Michael and All Angels Church, Langtoft will be holding their Saturday Sale in church.  Freshly made bacon butties to have with tea or coffee.  Cake stall, bric-a-brac, CDs and DVDs and our popular ‘Pot Luck’ table.  Homemade cakes and other produce to sell on the cake stall are always in demand.

The church is open each Saturday during the month, between 10am and 12 noon and coffee and tea are available.

Lent Lunches Wednesday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th March – 12 noon to 2pm

St Michael and All Angels Church, Langtoft will start their Lent Lunches in church.  Come along and enjoy a bowl of delicious homemade soup with roll and butter, followed by cheese and biscuits and coffee or tea.  The suggested donation for the lunch is £4.00 and the proceeds will be divided between the church and Christian Aid.

Thursday 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th March – 12 noon to 1.30pm

St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be holding their Monthly Lunches in church.  Soup & roll, hot pudding with custard, fruit, tea or coffee for just £5, under school age children £1.50 (either pasta shapes or beans, pudding).

Baptism – Sunday 10th March – 12 noon

We welcome the family and friends of Ethan Weston as he is baptised in St Michael and All Angels Church Langtoft.

Soup Sunday – Sunday 17th March at 12 noon

St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding their annual Soup Sunday for Lent in the Church Hall.  A simple lunch of homemade soup and bread – donations invited to Christian Aid.

Lent Evening Meal – Tuesday 12th, 19th and 26th March, 2nd, 9th, 16th April – 7.30pm

Afternoon Tea at the Vicarage Thursday 21st March from 2pm to 4pm

Reverend Carolyn Bailey will be having an open afternoon at the Vicarage.  A chance to pop along have tea, cake and a chat.  All will be most warmly welcomed.

Mothers’ Union Tuesday 19th March – 2-4pm

Monday 25th March – 2pm

The Ness Group Film Club meets in the Church Hall in Thurlby.  The film is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.  Donation of £2.50.  Please do come along and have a nice relaxing time watching the film and then chatting to friends afterwards while you have afternoon tea.
