Advent Reflection
Thursday 29th November; 6th & 13th December
2.30pm – 3.30pm
St Firmin Church, Thurlby will be holding an Advent Reflection in the Church Hall, Thurlby called “Follow the Star” with a bring and share afternoon tea afterwards.
Saturday Sale – Saturday 1st December
There will not be a Saturday Sale in St. Michael’s Church, Langtoft this month.
The church is open each Saturday during the month, between 10am and 12 noon, and coffee and tea are available.

Mothers’ Union

The Mothers’ Union will be holding their Christmas Lunch at Toft.

St John the Baptist Church, Baston will be holding their Christmas Lunches in church. Soup & roll, hot pudding with custard, fruit, tea or coffee for just £5, under school age children £1.50 (either pasta shapes or beans, pudding).
Pop in for Prayer
Friday 7th, 14th & 21st December – 9.15am to 10am
St John’s Church, Baston will be holding a pop in for a quiet time of prayer. Take a moment out of the hustle and bustle, pause and pray. No need to book, anyone welcome.
Christmas Tree & Wreath Festival
Thursday 6th – 2pm – 4pm & Friday 7th 12 noon – 2pm
Saturday 8th December -10am to 3.30pm &
Sunday 9th December – 11am to 3.30pm
St John’s Church, Baston will be holding on Thursday and Friday Wreath Making Workshops in the church. If you are interested in participating in one of the workshops please contact Maryon on 07471 198497. Spaces will be limited so please book your place early.
The Christmas Tree and Wreath Festival in the church will follow on from this on the Saturday and Sunday. Finishing off with an informal “Carol Sing” round the piano at 3pm featuring carols illustrated in the Festival on the Sunday afternoon. Cake Stall, Games and Refreshments available throughout.
Christmas Tree Festival –
Saturday 15th December – 10am to 3.30pm
St Michael’s Church, Langtoft will be holding their Christmas Tree Festival in the church. There will be a Raffle, Tombola for Children and Adults. Toys, games and many stalls for all to browse to pick up a bargain. Santa will be there for the children to visit free of charge.
Saturday 8th December – 7.30pm
Reverend Carolyn Bailey would like to invite you to Christmas Drinks at the Vicarage.
Monday 17th December – 2pm
The Ness Group Film Club meets in the Church Hall in Thurlby. The film is “White Christmas”. Donation of £2.50. Please do come along and have a nice relaxing time watching the film and then chatting to friends afterwards while you have afternoon tea.
Thursday 20th December
Rock of Ages will be holding a Christmas Concert in St Michael’s Church, Langtoft. Tickets available from Colin Avery – 01778 561568 and Richard Kelly – 01778 345423. The band will be performing a mix of seasonal, their own music and covers.
